Helle Vandkilde
Professor of Archaeology; Director of the AU-Arts research programme “Materials, Culture and Heritage”; Aarhus University; Denmark; BA, MA, dr.phil. Internationally renowned scholar in Bronze Age studies and warfare studies. Initiator and coordinator of pioneering interdisciplinary projects at the intersection of archaeology, anthropology and science, with national and international funding. Conducts research of Europe-wide and global scope while also addressing issues of ‘the past in the present’, cultural mobility, transculturality, and religiosity. Referee and evaluator for international funding schemes and stakeholders. Has done fieldwork in Denmark, Scania, Crete, Romania and Papua New Guinea
